Who Regulates Long-Term Care Administrators in Virginia?


Nursing Home and Assisted Living Administrators are licensed and regulated by the Virginia Board of Long-Term Care Administrators. To be a licensed administrator in Virginia, you must be approved and licensed by the Board of Long-Term Care Administrators and complete Continuing Education credits to remain in good standing with the Board. 

The Virginia Board of Long-Term Care Administrators also regulates Nursing Home and Assisted Living Administrator-In-Training program preceptors. Find out how to become a preceptor.
