Our team works tirelessly to influence public policy, engage with lawmakers, and promote legislative initiatives that support high-quality care and services for older adults. Through collaboration, education, and grassroots mobilization, we strive to create positive change and ensure a brighter future for all Virginians.

2024-2026 Public Policy Committee

The Public Policy Committee plays a vital role in shaping LeadingAge Virginia’s advocacy work. This member-driven group monitors legislation and regulations that impact aging services and our provider community. Guided by the priorities set by the LeadingAge Virginia Board of Directors, the Committee evaluates policy proposals, recommends positions, and helps lead the association’s efforts to support, amend, or oppose key initiatives. Their work ensures our advocacy remains strategic, responsive, and aligned with the needs of our members.
