Submission Criteria:

All submissions will be reviewed with the goal of developing a high-quality, well-balanced education program.

• Complete information must be submitted in order to be considered.
• Content must be educational in nature and not a sales pitch.  No specific company, product, or service may be endorsed in the presentation.  Products or services expressed in the presentation must be generic and available through multiple companies or the government.
• Sessions should be a minimum of 1 hour in length.
• Submissions must include current headshots of all speakers with each proposal.

Evaluation Criteria:

LeadingAge Virginia's Education Task Force and LeadingAge Virginia staff will review submissions using the following criteria:

• Relevance of topics and educational needs of our members and industry professionals.
• Practical and replicable applicability of content.
• Content developed for intermediate or advanced-level audience.
• Delivery suited for adult learners.
• Clarity and depth of session content and education methods that enhance the learning experience.
• Utilization of a provider member when presentations involve two or more speakers.

Please note that we may collaborate with you to refine the title and/or session content to meet the needs of the audience.

Speaker Terms and Conditions:

• Incur all expenses related to the development/implementation of their sessions (LeadingAge Virginia does not pay speaker honorarium/travel/per diem/other costs).
• For in-person events, register to attend.  Speaker discounts may be available – please contact Carter Lyons for more details.
• If eligible, hold active LeadingAge Virginia membership.
