We are now accepting proposals for LeadingAge Virginia’s 2026 education programs, including our Annual Conference, specialty events, and webinars.
Whether you’re a provider, business partner, or subject matter expert, this is your opportunity to contribute to a year of high-impact learning that supports nonprofit aging services organizations across the commonwealth.
We're Looking for Proposals That Are:
- Educational, not promotional
- Timely, relevant, and grounded in real-world practice
- Consider the full continuum of aging services
- Designed with a specific audience in mind (from executives to frontline staff)
- Engaging in format - think panel discussions, case studies, interactive sessions
- A session a minimum of 1 hour in length
Who You'll Reach
LeadingAge Virginia members serve the entire aging services continuum, including affordable housing, adult day centers, hospice & palliative care, assisted living, nursing homes, and CCRCs. Proposals can be targeted to a specific role or service line, but should reflect the breadth of our membership. We prioritize submissions from provider members, elite sponsors, and business members, but all are encourage to submit content that aligns with member needs.
Evaluation Criteria:
LeadingAge Virginia's Education Task Force and LeadingAge Virginia staff will review submissions using the following criteria:
- Relevance of topics and educational needs of our members and professionals from the field
- Clearly stated learning outcomes and objectives that are practical and readily applicable
- Content developed with clarity and depth for target audience
- Delivery and format for adult learners
- Utilization of a provider member if at all possible
Please note that we may collaborate with you to refine the title and/or session content to meet the needs of the audience.
