Mid-Manager Professional Development Series

The Mid-Manager Professional Development series is a once-a-month, five-month long program designed for new managers or those who are ready for new management challenges. The objective of the program is to assist participants in developing a better understanding of themselves and their leadership potential, the aging services field, and how they can use that knowledge to develop a more integrated view of their job and organization.

The sessions focus on skill-building and knowledge enhancement in the following areas: providing leadership in a senior housing environment, gaining financial acumen, delegation and working in teams, developing and managing people, and business communications. Each participant is required to complete a ProScan analysis which assesses each participant’s leadership and communication styles, their strengths while gaining insight into stress levels, motivators and de-motivators. ProScan results will be provided to each participant.
