LeadingAge Virginia is a community of mission driven aging services organizations dedicated to enhancing the lives of older adults across the care continuum. Our members include life plan/continuing care retirement communities, senior housing, assisted living, nursing homes, adult day centers, and home and community-based services. Together, we are committed to expanding the world of possibilities for aging. Founded in 1973 by nursing home administrators who recognized the unique needs of nonprofit organizations, LeadingAge Virginia continues to be a trusted voice and advocate for aging services providers. Each of our members has a unique and inspiring story. Their passion, innovation, and commitment to strong values define our association. PositiveAge, a LeadingAge Virginia Foundation, is an emerging nonprofit focused on transforming the aging experience in Virginia by securing funds to build coalitions and develop innovative solutions to promote positive aging. Our national partner, LeadingAge, includes 5,000+ not-for-profit organizations throughout the United States and envisions an America freed from ageism. Meet the Team
