This 4-month series is designed for those with at least 2 years experience in managing people and who are high performers. Participants will learn more advanced leadership techniques and how to apply them in cross-functional and potentially interdisciplinary environments. It is not required that participants complete the Mid-Manager Professional Development series.

CANCELLATION POLICY:  Cancellations received in writing by seven days before the start of the event will receive a credit, less a $200 administrative fee, toward

a future LeadingAge Virginia event, excluding the Annual Conferences or Leadership Retreats.  Cancellations received less than seven days before the event

will be considered a no-show and no credit will be issued. Substitutions are encouraged.  Any credits will expire one year after the date of the event.

Session 4 – Business Communications (December 12)

  • Enhancing Capability in Business Communication
  • The Power and Perils of Social Media
